HealthyEyes – your sight is precious to us
Everyone has heard those old wives' tales that finishing your crusts makes your hair curly, and eating carrots helps you see in the dark. These may or may not be true, but there are some definite food facts we can share with you.
The things that are good for your eyes often have strange-sounding names like lutein, or zeaxanthin (that’s even weirder!). The important thing to remember, though, is that they can help your eyes to stay healthy until you’re older than any of your teachers!
